Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your VVault account and the data associated with it. VVault is developed by VVault (support@vvault.in).
Delete your account in the app
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly inside VVault:
- Open VVault and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. Once complete, you will be signed out and can no longer log in with that account.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your vouchers and gift cards, including codes, PINs, amounts, expiry dates and categories.
- Your profile information (name, phone number, date of birth, gender).
- Your encryption keys held on our servers.
- Your account login and authentication record.
No account data is retained after deletion — there is no additional retention period. Anonymised, non-identifying crash and diagnostic logs that contain no voucher content may persist temporarily for stability purposes.
Delete only some data
If you don't want to delete your whole account, you can delete individual vouchers at any time from the voucher's detail screen (open a voucher → Delete). This removes that voucher and its synced copy without deleting your account.
Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email support@vvault.in from your registered email address and ask us to delete your account. We will verify your identity and delete your account and associated data on your behalf.
